Who is responsible for your information
This is the website of Aurenza Digital, a studio that designs, builds, hosts and maintains websites for businesses.
Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector places this responsibility with the person who holds the highest authority in the business. Ours is:
What we collect
When you request a quote through the form on this site, we ask for:
- your name;
- your email address;
- the name of your business, should you choose to give it;
- a message describing your project.
With the request we also receive the address of the page it was sent from, including any campaign tags that address carries, and the technical details every website receives, such as your IP address, which serve to keep the form free of spam.
Why we collect it
Your information serves the purposes below, and no others without your consent, except where the law provides otherwise.
- to reply to your request and prepare a written quote;
- to arrange and hold the consultation call;
- should you become a client, to design, build, host and maintain your website, and to invoice for it;
- to keep the form free of spam and abuse.
Where it is kept, and who handles it
Requests from the form arrive in our client management system at portal.aurenzadigital.ca, where only the members of our team who prepare quotes and serve clients can see them.
The providers who handle this information on our behalf are:
Their servers may be located outside Quebec, including in the United States. Before personal information is communicated outside Quebec, the law requires a business to assess first whether it will receive adequate protection there, and we do so.
How long we keep it
Once the purposes for which it was collected have been fulfilled and those periods have passed, your information is destroyed or anonymized.
Your rights
At any time, you may:
- ask whether we hold information about you, and obtain access to it;
- have inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal information corrected;
- have information deleted where its collection, communication or retention is not authorized by law;
- withdraw your consent to a particular use of your information;
- receive your computerized information in a structured, commonly used technological format;
- ask that we cease disseminating information about you where its dissemination causes you serious harm.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies.
To understand which parts of the site are useful, we count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, does not identify you, and produces only anonymous totals such as the pages viewed, the country and the type of device. There is, accordingly, nothing to switch off.
Should we ever add a tool capable of identifying you, locating you or building a profile of you, the law requires us to tell you so and to keep that function off until you turn it on yourself.
Security, incidents and changes
We protect your information with measures suited to its sensitivity: the site and its forms are encrypted (HTTPS), our client management system is open only to signed-in members of our team, and access is limited to those who need it to do the work.
Should a confidentiality incident present a risk of serious harm, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned, as the law requires.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date. For any question about it, write to Alessandro Mottile at info@aurenzadigital.ca.
